AQTE has multiple events and socials throughout the year. From Quad Day and other socials, to financial simulations and trips to Chicago, there are multiple opportunities for you to meet others with similar interests outside of our classes.

AmplifyMe

One of our most popular events at AQTE is the AmplifyMe Financial Accelerator. At these meetings, you have the chance to be a part of a simulation where you act as both an Investment Banker and an Asset Manager. Through the 2 hour accelerator, you will get to compete against other members to see who best manages their portfolio, and receive personalized feedback at the end of the event. Since AmplifyMe has a partnership with Morgan Stanley, exceptional candidates will be recruited for internships and other opportunities.

Trips

During the Spring semester, AQTE offers members a chance to travel to Chicago and visit a trading company. Our most recent trip, in Spring 2023, was to the Chicago Trading Company. Here members were able to speak with recruiters, network with traders, and have first hand experience of how the trading industry works and functions.

Socials

Throughout the year, we host multiple socials that focus on building the community we have at AQTE. Most of these events are not related to trading, but instead for having fun and meeting others with similar interests. In the past, we have had events such as Poker Night, academic or industry speakers, coffee chats, and more!
